This is the time. In the next few weeks we will open two new facilities, both of which represent Calvary's commitment to carry the gospel to the next generation.

I am so grateful for the gift of time this summer. I cannot express how thankful I am for leaders who have encouraged me to step away for a few days this summer and for an incredible staff that steps up and meets every demand. I am so blessed.

For several years I heard spiritual leaders and mentors I respected talk about taking a study break, or study retreat periodically. They advised that time was needed to pull away from the weekly demands of teaching just for a short while, to focus on the bigger picture and just hear from God. About 4 years ago I finally started this habit and quickly realized how important it was. So each summer now I pull away for a short time to do nothing but read, pray, write, and plan the teaching for coming year.

Jesus cares for the whole world. Great churches have a global vision and at Calvary you can see our global vision in action all summer long.
