Christmas Eve Services

Christmas Eve is always a great time at Calvary. This year we have 2 services 4:30 & 6:00. It is a beautiful service with Christmas music, a brief biblical Christmas message explaining the meaning of Christmas, and as always a candle lighting ceremony that tops off the evening. It is a great time to focus on Jesus and a great way to frame your Christmas celebration with the real meaning of Christmas.

As always we expect capacity crowds for the services. The pattern of the last couple of years has been that our 4:30 service is filled beyond capacity. This year to provide room for everyone we have created an overflow area in the Anderson Center. We will be able to broadcast live into the Anderson Center. It will be set up as a worship venue and those who sit in there will even be able to bring in coffee if they want. If you want to sit in the main worship center at 4:30, come early, and help us by making sure every seat is filled. If you wouldn’t mind, consider making room for others by sitting in the overflow area.

The 6:00 service will be full, but in the last few years it isn’t completely packed like the earlier service. So 6:00 might be an option if you want to make sure there is room for your entire family to sit together. You can also help us provide space at 4:30 by considering the 6:00 service if it is all the same to you.

I pray you have a great Christmas season and I look forward to seeing you at Calvary on Christmas Eve!

Candlelight Christmas Eve service is a blessed event. All who can, go. Take some time from the mass marketing to get your dollar and focus on the Christ child, and what HE means to you. My family and I love Brother Willy and his church in Clearwater, even though we have not actually visited. We live in Pensacola, but have been blessed to hear his good preaching from our pulpit at Hillcrest Baptist. Blessings to you all and enjoy this great season of HOPE, praise the Lord Jesus Christ.
